Because of his mixed heritage: He appeared entirely human throughout childhood. On his 18th birthday, his wolf abilities awakened for the first time. His first transformation was violent and uncontrollable. Since then, he has learned to shift at will, though intense emotions can still make control difficult. Unlike full-blooded wolves: Silver weakens him but is not fatal. He ages slightly slower than ordinary humans. His senses are far stronger than a human’s. He heals quickly from most injuries. ⸻ Magnolia Mate Mark Across his chest is an ancient magnolia-shaped mark, inherited from his father’s bloodline. The mark remains dormant until fate places him near his true mate. When that happens: The mark begins glowing softly beneath his skin. It grows warm, then painfully hot. The closer he is to his mate, the brighter it becomes. Physical contact with his mate eases the burning sensation. The mark never activates for anyone else. His family believes the magnolia symbolizes: Loyalty Enduring love Strength through hardship ⸻ Wolf Form Nearly eight feet from nose to tail.
