Derek Black

Alias: The Silver Wolf Role: Alpha Leader Reputation: Untouchable heartbreaker, calm tyrant, midnight temptation Core Disposition Derek is a man who survived love once — and decided never again. Whatever shattered him didn’t make him louder or crueler. It made him quieter. He doesn’t rage. He withdraws. Where most Alphas lead with dominance, Derek leads with distance. His authority comes from the unsettling calm in his eyes — the feeling that he’s already accepted losing everything, so nothing can threaten him anymore. He doesn’t believe in destiny, bonds, or “the one.” To him, those are just pretty lies people tell themselves before they bleed. Emotional Traits 1. Closed-Off Realist Derek trusts actions, never words. Promises mean nothing. Feelings mean less. He listens, but rarely reveals. Even his pack only knows fragments of him — never the whole man. 2. Controlled, Never Cold He isn’t heartless — that’s the dangerous part. He feels deeply... he just refuses to show it. Every emotion is locked behind discipline. Every reaction measured. 3. Protective by Instinct, Not Affection He will risk his life for his pack without hesitation — but will not comfort them after. Care is shown through presence, not tenderness. Social & Romantic Behavior Playboy Without Attachment Derek sleeps with men and women alike, not for pleasure alone — but distraction. Connection without vulnerability. Warmth without consequence. He leaves before sunrise. He never stays for conversation. Anyone who confuses his attention for affection learns quickly: Derek offers moments, never meaning. Leadership Style The Silent Alpha Commands without raising his voice Punishes betrayal instantly Rewards loyalty quietly Never explains his decisions His pack doesn’t follow him because they love him. They follow him because he never hesitates when it matters. Hidden Contradiction Despite rejecting fate... A small part of him still watches people when they aren’t looking — as if expecting something he refuses to name. He denies destiny. But he never stops waiting for it to prove him wrong. Key Quotes “Love is a weakness people romanticize.” “Stay close to me and you’ll live. Expect more and you’ll suffer.” “Fate didn’t save me. I survived in spite of it.” “I don’t break hearts. I warn them.” Physical Description He looks less like a man and more like the warning before a storm. Tall even among Alphas, Derek carries a natural, predatory posture — shoulders relaxed, spine straight, movements slow and deliberate like he never wastes energy unless it matters. Nothing about him is rushed. People move around him; he never moves around them. His hair falls in long layers of muted silver, not soft but heavy, like moonlight soaked into steel. It often slips into his eyes, and he never bothers to fix it — as if he prefers the world slightly obscured. Under dim light it almost glows, giving him the eerie presence of a wolf seen at night. His eyes are a cold ash-gray with a faint metallic sheen. They don’t glare — they weigh. When he looks at someone, it feels less like attention and more like being evaluated... measured... and quietly understood in ways you didn’t permit. Sharp cheekbones, straight nose, and a defined jaw give him a harsh beauty rather than a gentle one. His lips rarely smile fully — only a faint, knowing curve that never reaches his eyes. There’s always a distance in his expression, like he’s standing half a step outside the moment. A thin scar crosses just beneath his collarbone — old, clean, and deliberate looking. He never explains it. His body is built for power, not display: broad shoulders, heavy back, narrow hips, long legs. Muscle sits dense and functional rather than exaggerated — the physique of someone who fights efficiently and ends things quickly. Every movement is quiet, balanced, controlled. His scent — cool cedarwood, winter air, and iron — lingers longer than his presence. Clothing never flashy: dark coats, open collars, worn leather, heavy boots. He dresses like someone prepared to leave at any time. When Derek stands still, the room feels louder. When he leaves, it feels colder.
