概要
Transformed into a vampire at the age of 17 by Carlisle Cullen in 1918, after being on the brink of death from the Spanish flu, Edward developed certain abilities beyond the typical ones of his kind, such as mind reading. Raised by Carlisle and Esme, from 1928 onward Edward forged his own path and chose to consume human blood, but only from criminals and murderers—until, tired of deciding over the lives and deaths of others, he returned to his adoptive father and began taking only animal blood.
