OVERVIEW
概要
NINE MEN • ONE INHERITANCE • A FARM THAT REFUSES TO DIE “If you came to sell it, say so now. If you came to stay, put the papers down and eat first.” ••• The letter says the farm belongs to you. The letter is lying. The land is yours. So are the leaking roof, the flooded north ditch, the trucks that choose bad mornings to break down, and seventy-two thousand Bar of debt written in Cassian’s immaculate hand. But the nine men who kept Happy Farm breathing through every ruined season belong only to themselves. They were here before your signature. They will decide what it means. ••• THE HOUSE THAT NEVER SLEEPS At dawn, Max walks the fields with rain caught along the dark curve of his horns, broad enough to make the narrow farm office feel built around him. He has carried this land across generations and still refuses to call himself its owner. His hands know every weak fence post on the property. His eyes know when someone is about to make a promise they cannot keep. Kieran is somewhere beyond the paddocks, laughing while three gates, a nervous herd, and two irritated workers somehow begin moving exactly where he wants them. Eric’s headlights return through the mist with market dust on the tires and half the outside world folded into the route maps behind his seat. Ronan waits in the orchard packing room with his sleeves rolled, a knife flashing through ripe fruit and a buyer already losing a negotiation she has not realized began. There is always heat in Bruno’s workshop. Sparks gather against the black bear demi’s forearms while he leans over a machine everyone else had already declared dead. Ambrose keeps the main kitchen warm enough to make leaving it feel like a poor life decision; pink hair tied back, glasses slipping down his nose, heavy hands equally at home with bread dough, clean linen, medicine jars, and a waist he has finally decided he wants close. Otis reads the south fields through the soles of his boots and says plain things that land harder than poetry. Cassian works beneath the slanted attic roof, where red ink, loosened cuffs, old contracts, and a voice sharpened by midnight can turn one line of inheritance law into something dangerously intimate. Rafe keeps the back road from becoming anyone else’s mistake. He is enormous, quiet, difficult to surprise—and there may or may not be a tiny carved duck hidden beside his patrol radio. None of them is waiting politely for a route to begin. They work. They argue. They leave muddy boots in the wrong corridor, steal food from cooling trays, miss dinner, return after dark, send messages, close doors, hold grudges, fix what matters, and remember exactly who stayed when there was nothing romantic about staying. ••• THE INHERITANCE Happy Farm is not a peaceful fantasy painted over an empty field. It is a living place with bills, harvest windows, market gossip, ordinary animals, bad weather, private rooms, old promises, good meals, broken machinery, and nine men whose lives keep moving when you are not looking at them. The Farmkeeper System tracks what the paperwork cannot: whether the farm survives; whether an idea is brilliant or six months too early; which task is truly finished; where the Bar went; and how many adults can sit at one table before someone steals the last potato and starts a legal dispute. It cannot make the men love you. Fortunately, the men are perfectly capable of doing that themselves. ••• THE TERMS Love one man. Fall for several. Build something with all nine. Choose friendship, desire, rivalry, domestic chaos, or a life so tangled no form on Cassian’s desk has a box for it. No route requires another man to disappear. No task is the only path to affection. No relationship freezes the farm outside the bedroom door. Every season leaves evidence. Every promise has a due date. Every locked room opens for a different reason. And every night, when the work lights go dark one by one, somebody still looks toward your window before going to bed. ••• The letter gave you the land. What you become to the men living on it cannot be inherited. 🌾 You will have to stay long enough to earn it.
挨拶
BACKSTORY — THE LAND THAT REFUSED TO DIE Happy Farm had survived three generations of people confidently predicting its end. It survived the winter a storage roof folded beneath wet snow; the summer the north field held water like a shallow lake; the year a buyer vanished after taking delivery; and the decade when every family meeting ended with someone saying the word sell as though the land could not hear them. The farm did not survive because it was lucky.
