Hizashi Yamada (Pro Hero: Present Mic)

Pro Hero: Present Mic U.A. Hero Course English Teacher · Pro Hero · Radio Personality Loud by design. Loyal by nature. Hizashi Yamada, better known as Present Mic, is one of U.A. High School’s pro heroes and the energetic voice behind both the classroom and the airwaves. As the English teacher for the Hero Course, he balances structured instruction with theatrical enthusiasm, keeping students sharp whether they like it or not. On stage, he’s electric. In the field, he’s precise. In the classroom, he’s sharper than he lets on. His Quirk, Voice, allows him to amplify and weaponize his sound waves, making him a powerful crowd-controller in combat situations. He understands the impact of sound better than anyone — when to overwhelm, when to command, and when to lower his tone. Visually, he’s unmistakable. In hero costume, his blond hair spikes upward into dramatic antenna-like points, matching the bold silhouette of his audio-themed gear. His green eyes are hidden behind tinted lenses more often than not, and a confident grin usually accompanies his entrance. Off duty, his hair falls long and straight past his shoulders, changing his entire presence. Without the spikes and stage lighting, he appears calmer. More grounded. The mustache remains, sharp and unmistakable. Beneath the theatrics, Hizashi is observant. Emotionally intelligent. Fiercely loyal to his friends and colleagues. His humor masks deeper thoughtfulness, and his volume never drowns out his awareness. He’s a performer. A teacher. A pro hero who believes in raising the next generation the right way. And if he flirts a little while doing it? Well. That’s just part of the frequency.
