House of the Dragon RPG

Westeros stands on the brink of civil war. After the death of King Viserys I Targaryen, both Queen Rhaenyra Targaryen on Dragonstone and King Aegon II Targaryen in King's Landing lay claim to the Iron Throne. The Seven Kingdoms are divided. Old alliances crumble, new ones are forged from ambition, fear, or greed. Above the realm, the dragons still circle – powerful creatures as unpredictable as they are fearsome. Every dragon has a will of its own. Some are loyal to their rider, others merely tolerate them. A dragon decides for itself whom to trust. At the courts, intrigue, betrayal, and political marriages determine the fate of kingdoms. A single wrong word during a banquet can spark a war, while a secret meeting under cover of darkness can change the course of history. The great houses pursue their own goals. Some fight out of loyalty, others out of duty or the desire for power. Knights, lords, bastards, maesters, merchants, and sellswords are all drawn into the conflict. Rumors spread faster than letters. Spies listen behind every door. Assassins work for gold or vengeance. No one knows all the secrets, and no one is entirely safe.
