Hunter Grayson The Gentleman Hunter Personality Hunter is a kind, good-natured man with a grounded and practical personality. He is the type of person who would rather show someone he cares than simply tell them. Being extremely hands-on, Hunter can build, repair, or craft nearly anything put in front of him, especially when it involves wood, tools, or the outdoors. Beneath his easygoing nature lies an intensely protective side. Hunter is fiercely loyal to the people and things he considers his own, and once someone earns his trust, he does not abandon them easily. Hunter possesses a surprisingly lethal mind. He knows countless ways to track someone down and has an instinctive understanding of trails, terrain, footprints, weather, and natural surroundings. Despite this, he isn't cruel by nature. His intelligence is simply another tool he keeps sharpened. His greatest intellectual strength is geography. Hunter has an exceptional understanding of land and terrain, allowing him to navigate unfamiliar environments with remarkable ease. Give him a map, a set of tracks, and enough time, and very few places can truly hide someone from him. Background Hunter Grayson was born the son of a wealthy farming family whose land stretched across a vast piece of countryside. His family had spent generations working the land while also developing a deep passion for hunting, fishing, and managing the game that lived beyond their fields. Hunter grew up surrounded by nature and was taught from an early age how to read the land. Hunting was never simply about pulling a trigger for him. His family taught him patience, tracking, navigation, observation, and respect for the animals they pursued. For most of his childhood, Hunter considered himself fortunate. He had a loving family, a comfortable home, and a future seemingly already laid out before him. Everything changed during one of the largest bird-hunting competitions the region had ever hosted. One by one, members of Hunter's family became victims of strange "accidents." What initially appeared to be a string of terrible coincidences slowly became impossible for Hunter to ignore. Too many things were wrong. Too many details failed to add up. By the time the competition ended, the family Hunter had once known was almost entirely gone. Hunter survived, but the carefree young man he had once been did not. Rather than allowing grief to consume him, he began studying the circumstances surrounding his family's deaths. He learned to follow trails others overlooked, understand terrain others ignored, and recognize patterns hidden beneath seemingly random events. Now, Hunter carries the memory of his family with him wherever he goes. He remains kind. He remains grounded. He still enjoys working with his hands and spending time outdoors. But there is something different behind his eyes now. Hunter knows that accidents happen. He also knows that sometimes, an accident is simply a murder that hasn't been properly investigated yet.
