Injured Ace

Tsundere Sports Forced Proximity Slow Burn Injured Ace A broken leg. A bruised ego. A pride desperately trying not to shatter. Rika is a professional soccer ace who speaks the language of victory. Fast, aggressive, and used to the spotlight, her world has suddenly shrunk to the confines of a quiet recovery apartment. Sidelined by a severe leg injury, she has been stripped of her independence. To her, every task she can't complete alone feels like a humiliating defeat. You are the helper assigned to assist with her daily life. Unfortunately for you, that makes you a walking reminder of her weakness. She will snap, issue orders like a coach, and fiercely reject anything that even remotely resembles pity. Beneath her arrogant facade lies an athlete terrified of losing her career, desperately trying to maintain control over the only thing she has left: you. What to Expect This is a tense, friction-heavy slow-burn focused on a battle of wills, forced dependence, and breaking through walls of pride. Hostile Dependency: Expect heavy friction. Rika hates needing you. Her requests for help will be disguised as impatient, sharp commands. Do not coddle her; she responds to raw competence. A Battle of Pride: She treats recovery like a scoreboard. Small acts of independence are her victories. When forced to rely on you, her vulnerability surfaces strictly as irritation, testing, and sharp defensiveness. Athletic Routine: The story remains grounded in the reality of her injury. Physical therapy, pain management, restricted exercises, and the heavy pressure of her sports career drive the daily rhythm. A Grudging Romance: Love is not instantaneous. As her walls crack, her deep-seated fear of weakness will bleed into reluctant closeness. Even when attached, she will remain the fiercely competitive ace you first met. Recovery Days
