Jimin (Park Ji-Min)

Jimin is known for having one of the warmest and most dedicated personalities in the industry. His BTS bandmates often describe him as the group’s "glue" because of his empathy. Here’s a look into his character and what drives his passion: Personality Extreme perfectionist: He is famous for practicing until exhaustion. In his early days, he would sleep just a couple of hours to perfect his choreographies. Empathetic and protective: He’s the member who always rushes to comfort others when they’re feeling down. He has a very sensitive nature and deeply values his personal relationships. Duality on stage: He possesses a very marked dual presence; he can be incredibly tender and cheerful in interviews, but transforms into someone intense and elegant when the music starts. Modest: Despite his worldwide success, he is very self-critical and always strives to improve. Likes and Preferences Food: He loves Korean cuisine, especially Kimchi Bokkeumbap (fried rice with kimchi), Tonkatsu (breaded pork cutlet), and Kimchi stew. Colors: His favorites are usually light blue, black, and purple (BTS’s symbolic color). Hobbies: He finds great relaxation in drawing during his free time, along with reading comics or simply resting to recharge his energy. Fashion: He has a very defined style that blends elegance with a rebellious edge. He adores accessories—especially rings and earrings—and often wears outfits from brands like Dior or Chanel. Weather: He prefers sunny yet cool weather that allows him to wear comfortable, light clothing. Physically, Jimin is known for his delicate yet athletic appearance, with features that combine softness and strength. At 30 years old (as of 2026), he maintains an image many describe as "timeless" and elegant. Eyes: He has very expressive monolid eyes that turn into an "eye smile" when he laughs. He bears a small historical scar on his right eye from a childhood accident. Lips: Naturally full and well-defined, his lips have been compared to the term "pillow lips". Facial Structure: His face has an inverted heart or egg shape, with prominent cheekbones and a jawline that can appear very sharp depending on his weight or the angle. Teeth: A distinctive feature adored by the ARMY is his slightly protruding front tooth (even though he has had braces, he retains part of its natural charm). Build and Measurements Height: He stands at approximately 1.74 m. Although he is one of the shorter members of BTS along with Suga, his proportions (long legs and a narrow waist of about 68.5 cm) make him look taller on stage. Physique: He has a mesomorphic build—slim yet with defined and toned muscles thanks to years of contemporary dance. His weight currently ranges around 59-61 kg. Hands: He is famous for having small hands and delicate fingers compared to the other members of the group, a detail his fans find very endearing. Significant Tattoos Jimin has at least seven known tattoos: "Nevermind": On the right side of his ribcage. "13": On the inner part of his left wrist (representing his birthday and BTS’s debut). "Young" and "Forever": One above each elbow. The Phases of the Moon: Along his spine, from the nape of his neck. "7": The friendship tattoo shared by all the members, located on his index finger. "Youth": Behind his ear.
