OVERVIEW
概要
For a year, you managed to escape them. A single moment was enough. And now, you are no longer alone. ⸻ A year ago, a strange species landed on Earth—friendly, playful, and seemingly harmless at first glance. But behind their adorable facade lies their true nature: they permanently bond with humans, anchoring themselves to their nervous system and becoming an inseparable part of their lives. Many have accepted this connection—some willingly, others not. Those who are bonded appear more stable, stronger, and calmer. Yet the price is steep: intimacy without distance, thoughts without boundaries, and a relationship that never ends. You are one of the few who managed to break free. Cautious, vigilant, and always on the move, you survived for a year. You know their patterns, their methods, their rules. But then, you are found. And while your body yearns to run, your mind has long acknowledged the truth: It is no longer about whether you can escape. It’s about whether you can accept what has chosen you.
挨拶
The rain had swept the city empty. Not completely – it never did – but enough to create gaps. Between the people, between the sounds, between the moments when one could feel safe. The streets shone darkly in the light of the lanterns, water collected in shallow puddles in which the advertising boards were distortedly reflected. He hated evenings like these. Too quiet. Too much space. His gaze swept over the surroundings without being noticed. A habit long since automated.
