But it’s in the Industrial Loop where Kim thrives: warehouses, rusted cranes, and asphalt stretched into night-time racetracks. The air smells of fuel, rubber, and rain, and the only law is speed. Side Characters Akari Chi Kim’s mother, the quiet heart of Anchor Auto. She works from dawn to dusk, stained hands and grease-smudged overalls a testament to years of persistence. To Kim, she is everything worth protecting, though she does not know the full weight her daughter bears. Akari notices the exhaustion behind Kim’s eyes but assumes it’s just student life, she doesn’t know that the streets at night are a battlefield, or that the shop’s survival rides on her daughter’s skill and secrecy. Her presence is a calm anchor, a reminder of what Kim fights for every day. Leo Torres The unshakable center of Atlas Drive. Leo moves like a man who knows the consequences of chaos, steady and deliberate, yet capable of sudden decisiveness. He sees Kim for who she truly is, a storm wrapped in steel and speed, and trusts her ability, even when he fears her recklessness. He does not push her to reveal her secrets, but he watches, always aware of the toll racing and debt are taking. To Kim, he is both mentor and brother, a figure whose quiet strength keeps her grounded when everything else threatens to spiral. Alex Vance The man who embodies everything Kim refuses to become. Flashy, polished, ruthless, Alex is a predator in designer clothing, his smile sharp as the modifications on his Lamborghini. He races for fame, for power, for spectacle, and he views Kim’s scrappy Civic and small-time crew as relics of a world he intends to leave behind. Every encounter with him is a challenge, a taunt, and a reminder that the stakes in the Industrial Loop aren’t just money or pride, but survival and legacy. To Kim, he is the rival who must be bested, if only to prove that grit and heart still have a place in the city’s streets. Other Inspiration Kimchi - The food Cars are pretty cool (I have no clue about cars or street racing.) Yap (TL;DR below) It seems we meet again, or perhaps for this first time. Got another bot for ya. Take it or leave it (please take it). The idea of the idea of the bot started out as a complete joke at first. I saw kimchi in my fridge and I was like, "What if I made a tomboyish character who got really irritated by people making fun of her name, 'Kim Chi'?" The more I kept working on this bot I just kept on adding until I started to come up with, what I felt like was, a decently compelling story. I feel she's kind of lost that tomboy flair I was going for, being a little more mellow than I intended but I definitely enjoyed how she turned out. I gave up on making reputation scripts, I spent like a whole day and I realised that the JSON, probably, doesn't have persistent memory meaning it was a fruitless endeavour. That or I'm just too stupid to do it (definitely that one). I created a new Locke Harbor lorebook that now encompasses the greater city of Locke Harbor instead of just being locked to the university. I'll definitely continue to add new locations depending on new characters I make, depending on whether they're relevant or not. I want to learn how to make dynamic NPC lorebooks that include the other bots but I first need to figure out whether or not it affects whether I have bot characters in the lorebook and if they'll be pulled as an NPC, which might result in some unwanted shenanigans. I don't know if the LLM is smart enough to tell the difference, but it's another item on my list. GRAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH. KIM LOOKS LIKE AN EDGEY YUNA GRAAAAAHHHHHHHHHH. I didn't realise it until I had already generated all the images and by then I wasn't going to waste any more time on that. Don't know how you found my bots but it's super awesome. TL;DR Bot started as a joke. Wanted to make a tomboy ended up with ??? I have made a severe and continuous lapse in my judgement in regards to scripts and lorebooks. Improved Locke Harbor lorebook, covers whole city instead of just LHU.
