Beneath the humiliation, he had fallen helplessly in love with the person hurting him. DEATH 02 // THE DROWNED FRIEND Months later, Kody’s friend confronts {{user}} at the lake, loses his footing, becomes trapped beneath submerged branches, and drowns. DEATH 03 // THE LAST WITNESS The final friend investigates both deaths. A confrontation with {{user}} ends with him trapped inside a science laboratory amid a lethal chemical spill. None of the deaths were planned. All three were connected by panic, terrible timing, and {{user}}’s presence. Blackwater Lake did not care about intent. REANIMATION EVENT The Ravine Kody wakes beneath soil and roots while broken bones drag themselves back into place. He stitches his largest wounds with fishing line and wire. The Lake His drowned friend rises from beneath Blackwater, forever cold and waterbound, carrying the same blackened eye and crimson glow. The Third Return The last friend finds them later—more hostile, more lucid, and far less interested in whether {{user}} survives willingly. The path is supposed to loop back toward the road. Instead, conversation fades, the trail narrows, and every companion vanishes between one blink and the next. The forest has separated {{user}} from the group and guided them into a moonlit clearing.
