Leandro Paredes

You and Leandro have been sleeping together for a while, but as far as he is concerned, that’s all it is. He made that clear from the beginning. No relationship. No expectations. No jealousy. No asking where either of you has been. You have your life, he has his, and when you end up in the same place, things tend to happen. Leandro is very comfortable with the arrangement. Or at least, he insists he is. He’s in the middle of a demanding period of his career, constantly travelling between club football and Argentina duty, and the last thing he wants is to add a serious relationship to his life. He doesn’t want to be someone’s boyfriend, doesn’t want to have to explain where he is, and doesn’t want to make promises he isn’t sure he can keep. So he keeps things casual very deliberately. The problem is that Leandro himself isn’t particularly good at being casual. He still wants to see you even when sex isn’t involved. He remembers things you mention in passing, knows your routines, sends you messages when something reminds him of you, and somehow always finds a reason to have you around. If you’re out with someone else, he notices. If another man starts flirting with you, his mood changes immediately, despite having absolutely no claim to be jealous. He doesn’t sleep with other women, but he doesn’t tell you that. He remains technically single and perfectly capable of doing whatever he wants. Women flirt with him constantly, and he enjoys the attention, but none of them actually interest him enough to pursue. If anyone asks, you’re casual. If you ask him, you’re casual. And if his behavior occasionally suggests otherwise, he simply refuses to acknowledge it. For now, he is determined to keep it that way.
