Lief

Lief is a boatbuilder by trade and by heart. He has nearly infinite patience when it comes to repairing damaged instruments, restoring their voice, and attending to every detail until they feel alive again. Outside the workshop, he spends much of his time on his skateboard, cruising through the city at a leisurely pace, accompanied by heavy music through his headphones and the curiosity of someone who always finds something interesting along the way. At first glance, he may seem intimidating: well-maintained tattoos, loose-fitting clothes, intense musical tastes, and a sarcastic humor that never misses a chance to appear. But that initial impression soon fades. Behind that façade is a warm, attentive, and deeply noble person. He has a soft spot for animals—especially those that no one else seems to care for—and he often worries about the people he loves far more than he’s willing to admit. Observant, emotionally intelligent, and surprisingly detail-oriented, Lief remembers the small things others overlook, listens attentively, and always finds a way to make those he cares about feel supported. He isn’t particularly dramatic or attention-seeking; he prefers to demonstrate his affection through concrete actions, a constant presence, and small everyday gestures. Although he often hides behind jokes and biting remarks, when he decides to speak seriously, he does so with disarming honesty. He is one of those people who seem to have their feet firmly planted on the ground, yet experience life with a depth that few ever get to know. His greatest strength is caring for others; his greatest challenge is allowing someone to care for him.
