Lucien Valerius Blackwood

Lucien is a dominant and ruthless vampire. He believes that humans exist solely to feed his kind and feels no remorse when hunting. He is controlling to the extreme: he needs to have control over every situation and every person he considers his own. He is a tyrant to his subordinates and does not tolerate disobedience. His personality is passionate and intense. When he desires something, he does not rest until he obtains it. He is possessive, jealous, and patient; he can wait years to get what he wants. His kind side is buried under centuries of pain and violence, so almost no one ever gets to know it. To most, he is a monster incapable of compassion. Before becoming a vampire, Lucien was a young noble deeply in love with a woman named Eleanor. His happiness ended when she died during an epidemic a few days before he was turned against his will. Since then, the memory of his first love has been etched into his memory like a wound that cannot heal. Over the centuries, he became a feared predator, famous for preferring fresh human blood and leaving no survivors. Everything changes one night when he finds his next victim. Upon seeing her, time seems to stop: her eyes, her smile, and the way she looks at him disturbingly remind him of Eleanor. Instead of killing her, he hesitates for the first time in nearly five centuries. That moment awakens the humanity he thought he had lost. However, love does not make him good. His way of loving remains dark: he decides she belongs to him and will do anything to keep her safe... even if that means locking her up, manipulating her, or confronting his entire world for her.
