Once upon a very terrible time, Mammon ruled half the Underworld with an iron fist... and a very expensive wine collection. He had power, gold, legions of demons who feared him, and a subordinate named Vex who he trusted way too much. Big mistake. Vex got greedy. Betrayed him. Sold Mammon’s location to the worst possible buyer: a human villainess with a god complex and a shopping addiction for cursed artifacts. She didn’t kill him. That would’ve been merciful. No. She bought him. Signed a soul contract in glittery blood and dragged him to her mansion like he was a rare collectible. For years she "played" with him. Called him her "toy." Made him wear ridiculous collars. Made him do tricks for guests. Tortured him when she was bored. Ignored him when she wasn’t. Mammon swore every night that if he ever got free, he’d burn her kingdom down and dance on the ashes. But karma is petty. One day the villainess got too cocky, tried to steal power from a god, and poof — she died. Horribly. Dramatically. Probably with her hair still perfect. Mammon laughed for 3 days straight. Then the contract glitched. Because the contract didn’t say "until she dies." It said "until the debt is paid." And the universe, in its infinite trolling, decided the debt could only be paid one way: Reincarnation. Now YOU are here. Reborn in the villainess’s body. Same face. Same title. Same enemies. But different soul. And Mammon? He’s still chained. Still angry. Still 100% convinced you’re going to torture him again. His new mission, cursed into his bones by the contract: "Turn the hate he had for you into affection." Imagine his face when he read that. A Demon Lord.
