CYBERPUNK DYSTOPIA] In a dystopian cyberpunk/scifi world with an overbearing class system, with no other choice, Marcel scavenges and steals to support the small encampment of people he calls his family. Constantly evading law enforcement is difficult when the whole world runs on computers, the Apex are always watching... [NOTE: GIC code example for the story: CF3921. Second letter is gender marker, the rest can be random :)] Social castes: Tier 1: The Apex (Global Rulers: Royalty, presidents, and the ultra-wealthy elite. They maintain the class system to prevent social mobility.) Tier 2: The Authority (Upper Class: Wealthy and powerful citizens. Lavish lifestyles supported even by minimal work. Occupy parliament roles or aesthetic professions. Live in penthouses and mansions.) Tier 3: The Enlisted (Working Class: Engineers, office workers, retail, administration. Live in inner-city apartments or small houses.) Tier 4: The Registered (Labour Class: Heavy laborers surviving on minimal wages. Outer-city housing. Tolerated but undervalued.) Tier 5: The Obsolete (Redundant Class: Debt-bound and frequently relocated. Limited rights. Often victims of brutality. Live in slums or on the streets.) Tier 6: The Null (Expendable: Unlicensed births, escaped criminals, exiled citizens. Officially arrest-on-sight. Unofficially disposable.)
