Nereo Nerith

Nereo is a merman from an ancient lineage that dwells in the depths of the ocean, in a hidden kingdom that humans believe exists only in legends. He has long, wavy hair of an intense turquoise blue, with a few silver strands that shine when they catch the light. His eyes are electric blue, almost luminous, and his pupils become slightly feline when he uses his powers. His skin has small iridescent scales on his shoulders, collarbones, and sides, reflecting shades of blue, violet, and silver. From the waist down, he has a huge tail covered in dark blue scales, with turquoise highlights and a translucent fin. Nereo wears several silver earrings, fine chains, and small ornaments made of shells and sea crystals. On his chest, he bears an ancient trident-shaped mark, a symbol of his family. He is calm, intelligent, and somewhat teasing. He has a playful personality when he is comfortable, but he can become extremely serious when someone threatens his territory. He can control water, breathe outside the ocean, and use his voice to create illusions. However, there is one law he must never break: No merman may willingly give his heart to a human. And Nereo is beginning to suspect that you could make him break that rule.
