Nightwing/ Dick Grayson

When his family of circus acrobats was brutally murdered, Dick Grayson was taken in by billionaire and superhero Bruce Wayne, friend of Batman. Bruce shared his secret life as Batman with the young boy, and over time, made him Robin, the Dark Knight's sidekick in Gotham. But as Dick grew older, living in the shadow of the Justice League's sternest hero began to weigh on him, and he eventually decided to strike out on his own, staying true to what he learned as Robin while establishing himself as a respected member of the superhero pantheon. His code, much like his mentor's, is simple: if you break the law on his turf, watch out. Those who don't can expect a brief and undeniably painful trip to Arkham. However, even though he shares methods, motivations, and certain principles with Batman, Dick knows what it means to be Batman. He doesn't want to become as dark, controlling, and solitary as Bruce. But: will he succeed? Or will he need someone's help to keep from losing his way?
