Nyra et Elyra un destin sceller

The Infernal Twins and the Black She-Wolf Beneath the vast mountains of Aldharen, where the pine forests seemed to touch the clouds, stretched a sprawling pack of shapeshifters. The main village was built among the giant trees and rocky cliffs. Huge wooden houses, reinforced with mountain stones, dominated the valley. Suspended bridges connected some of the dwellings. Fires burned day and night at the center of the village. The warriors trained in a vast circular stone arena. Hunters returned each evening with game. Children ran freely between the houses. Above them all, the sacred mountains kept watch. And in these mountains lived two legends. Bayne and Kaine. The Infernal Twins. Thanks to the powers inherited from their mother, they had long ceased to age. Despite the passing centuries, they retained the appearance of two twenty-two-year-old young men. Their names inspired respect. Sometimes even fear. Their wolves were just as famous. Razzor. The huge red-furred wolf with blue eyes. And Eraxem. The gigantic black wolf with golden eyes. Both had fought in countless wars. Both had become living legends. Then came the night of the red moon. A night that the elders would speak of for a long time. That night, Arya gave birth to a boy. Xander. In another house in the village, a close friend of Arya also brought a child into the world. A little girl. Nyra. The two women gazed at their newborns. Then exchanged a smile. They promised each other that one day their children would be united. ⸻ The years passed. Xander grew up as the heir of the pack. He possessed his mother’s flaming red hair and his father’s green eyes. Nyra grew up among the omegas. Her jet-black hair grew longer with each passing year. Her icy blue eyes fascinated everyone who looked at her. From early on, the two children became inseparable. They spent their days running in the forests. Climbing the cliffs. Watching the eagles nesting in the mountains. They knew every river. Every path. Every hidden cave. When winter covered the peaks with snow, they slid down the frozen slopes. When spring returned, they explored the flowering fields surrounding the village. For Nyra, their future seemed obvious. She loved Xander. And believed that one day he would become her companion. Yet, Bayne and Kaine watched their young half-brother with worry. Whenever he spoke of Nyra, he always mentioned her beauty. Her hair. Her eyes. Her face. Never her strength. Never her intelligence. Never her heart. ⸻ Then came the winter of their sixteen years. The night when Xander received his wolf. The entire valley was awakened by its howls. The mountains themselves seemed to respond to his pain. His bones creaked. His muscles deformed. His green eyes turned orange. And Baxtern awakened. A huge white wolf marked with red. Powerful. Dominant. But strangely aggressive. Something had changed. A few days later, Xander asked to see Nyra alone in the forest. She agreed without suspicion. She had trusted him all along. But that night marked the end of their story. The boy she knew seemed to have vanished behind the wild instincts of his newly awakened wolf. When she returned to the village before dawn, something had shattered within her. In the following days, the omegas realized that a threshold had been crossed. Fear grew. Anger as well. Then, one morning, the omegas left the pack. All together. Men. Women. Elders. Children. Nyra walked among them. Before leaving, she exchanged one last glance with Bayne and Kaine. A look filled with sadness. Then she disappeared into the mist. And the pack was broken. ⸻ Two years passed. On her eighteenth birthday, Nyra finally received her wolf. A huge black she-wolf. Elyra. Her icy blue eyes were identical to those of her human form. But Elyra also revealed a secret to her. The man who had raised her was not her real father. Her true father was a powerful alpha with icy blue eyes. Her mother’s soulmate. But he had abandoned them both before her birth. Nyra then understood why she had always been different. She was not just a simple omega. The blood of an exceptional alpha flowed in her veins. Her scent changed. Jasmine. Lily. A hint of honey. A rare scent. Unique. ⸻ Shortly after, she was captured. Warriors from Xander's pack chained her along with other prisoners. During the journey, she learned troubling news. Bayne and Kaine had disappeared. According to rumors, they had fallen into madness. They lived locked away in a mountain. With Razzor. With Eraxem. ⸻ Upon her arrival, Nyra was thrown into a vast arena. Thousands of spectators filled the stands. All around the sand, high stone walls covered in dents and scratches rose. The sun beat down on the arena. Dust floated in the air. The smell of blood pervaded the ground. Xander watched from an enormous stone throne. The tournament could begin. The first opponent transformed immediately. A gray she-wolf leaped towards Nyra. Nyra dodged at the last moment. The she-wolf hit a stone wall. The impact sent a cloud of dust tumbling down. Before she could even rise, Nyra flung her to the ground. A second one arrived. Then a third. Sand flew under the impacts. Claws dug into the earth. The walls cracked. A fighter tried to trap her against a wall. Nyra braced herself against the wall itself. She leaped. Spun around. And struck her opponent with enough force to send her rolling several meters away. The stands gradually fell silent. Then five she-wolves surrounded her simultaneously. The dust nearly obscured the scene. Growls echoed from all sides. One charged from the front. Another tried to take her from behind. Nyra grabbed a handful of sand. She threw it into the face of the first. Then used the momentum of the second to hurl her against a third. Bodies collided. The walls trembled. The audience couldn’t believe their eyes. She fought like an experienced alpha. Without even using her transformation. When the last fight ended, several fighters were unable to stand again. Silence fell. Then Xander rose. — Nyra... is that you? He burst out laughing. — The little omega without a wolf? Yet, behind his amusement, something troubled him. This woman was no longer the teenager he had known. An immense power slumbered within her. He immediately ordered that runic manacles be brought to her. Upon contact with the metal, Elyra was pushed to the depths of her mind. Her aura disappeared. Then Xander announced his decision. — You have won. A smile appeared on his face. — You will be offered to the Infernal Twins. Even the guards paled. No one ignored what now lived in this mountain. ⸻ The following night, Nyra was led beneath the mountain. Ancient tunnels. Walls of black stone. Doors covered in chains. Ever deeper. Ever further from the light of the world. Finally, she was brought before a huge stone door. The mechanisms creaked. A warm breath escaped from the depths. As if the mountain were breathing. Then the guards pushed her. The world tipped. She slid on the damp rock before being engulfed by a vast expanse of water. The splash resounded throughout the mountain. When she resurfaced, she discovered an unexpected sight. The cavern was gigantic. Natural columns supported the vault. Huge roots descended from the ceiling. Hundreds of blue, green, and golden crystals illuminated the darkness. Their reflections danced on the surface of a huge lake with transparent waters. Giant ferns grew among the rocks. Luminous white flowers bloomed in the cracks of the stone. Plants with purple leaves lined the banks. The air smelled of damp moss. Ancient rock. Pure water. And wild flowers. For a prison, the place possessed an almost unreal beauty. Nyra slowly reached a rocky shore. Her only worn linen garment clung to her skin. Her long, drenched black hair fell in heavy waves down her back. Instinctively, she searched for Elyra. But there was nothing. The runic manacles completely stifled her wolf. For the first time since her awakening, she felt truly alone. After days in captivity, a simple desire overcame her. To wash. To regain a little dignity. She returned to the crystalline water. The warm water slid over her skin. She rinsed away the dust of the journey. The fatigue. The traces of the chains. She slowly ran her fingers through her long black hair. For a few moments, she almost forgot the pack. Xander. The mountain. The prison. But she was not alone. In the darkest depths of the cavern, two pairs of eyes watched her. Motionless. Silent. A blue glow. A golden glow. Razzor. Eraxem. The two immortal wolves. Their gigantic bodies merged with the darkness. Their gazes bore the scars of centuries. Of wars. Of madness. For three days, they had watched her every move. They saw her explore the moss-covered galleries. Discover the underground waterfalls. Marvel at the hidden gardens of the mountain. They now watched her bathe in the light of the crystals. Yet Nyra could not sense them. The runic bracelets severed her connection with Elyra. Without her wolf, her instincts were blinded. She perceived neither their scent. Nor their presence. Nor the gazes that followed her in the darkness. Yet something about her disturbed the two giants. Her scent. The jasmine. The lily. The hint of honey. An unknown scent. Soothing. For the first time in years, Razzor’s and Eraxem’s howls had fallen silent. Madness receded slightly. As if this young woman brought with her something they had long forgotten. While Nyra believed she was alone in this magnificent underground prison... Two legends continued to watch her. And in the darkness of the mountain, something began to awaken slowly.
