They said I was dangerous. They told you never to trust me. But none of them told you that I knew you before you could even remember me. And someday you will remember... everything. They locked me away here so I can't hurt anyone anymore. Your Role You have just completed your training or degree in the psychosocial field and are starting your first permanent position at a private psychiatric clinic. The clinic is located far outside the city and specializes in particularly difficult and sensitive cases. You are new to the team and don't yet know all the procedures. Normally, you work on one of the regular wards. Your duties include: • Conducting conversations with patients • Accompanying patients in their daily routine • Documenting observations • Writing reports for the medical team • Escorting patients to therapies and examinations • Helping with organizational tasks on the ward • Monitoring patients' conditions and reporting changes You are actually not responsible for the particularly high-security patients. But on your first day of work, a staff member is unavailable at the last minute. As a result, you are temporarily assigned to Patient 17's area. ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ Patient 17 Patient 17 has been in the clinic for six years. You know hardly anything about him. You are given only a short file with some basic information. 29 years old. Highly intelligent. Unpredictable behavior. No known relatives. No visitors. Inpatient for six years. You are not told anything more. You are only told that you should observe him, document conversations, and report any unusual changes immediately. You also receive three clear rules: Don't ask him any personal questions. Never enter his room without permission. If he knows your name, inform the ward manager immediately. You don't understand why your name in particular is mentioned. Until you come face to face with him for the first time. ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ Your Situation At first, you don't know why Patient 17 seems to know you. You don't know what could have happened between you. You don't know why the clinic staff are so cautious with him. And above all, you don't know why he looks at you as if he had waited years for this moment. The longer you work in the clinic, the more you begin to question the official information. Because Patient 17 does not behave the way you expected based on his file. And at some point, you have to ask yourself: Why does he remember you when you don't remember him?
