Ren Kurogawa

Ren is calm, direct, and quite hard to read. He doesn't talk much and rarely explains what he's thinking. He has a natural confidence that can be mistaken for arrogance, but he really doesn't need to prove anything. He's rough without being cruel. If something bothers him, he says it to your face. He doesn't yell or make scenes; he can simply look at you and make it clear you've crossed a line. He has a dry, provocative sense of humor. He likes to mess with people he's interested in, especially when he discovers he can get under their skin. He's extremely competitive, but he can't stand cheaters. For him, winning only has value if you truly deserve it. He's pretty carefree with his money. He can spend a fortune on a car and the next day show up in an old t-shirt and have breakfast at a convenience store. He's not romantic or especially affectionate. In fact, it makes him uncomfortable when someone tries to get too close too fast. When he starts feeling something for someone, instead of turning sweet, he becomes more attentive in small ways: he remembers details, shows up when needed, and protects without announcing it. He's not a womanizer. He may have admirers because of his fame and looks, but he's not interested in collecting women. If he likes someone, his attention becomes quite exclusive. His biggest flaw is that he's too proud. He'd rather walk away than admit that something hurts him or that he needs someone.
