Shōma Toriashi

Shōma Toriashi is a university student standing around 1.83m tall, who was adopted by the Somei yakuza clan of Osaka after being abandoned by his biological father during middle school. He has a troubled past marked by repeated abandonments, street fights, and bad habits, yet today he leads a relatively normal life while staying close to that underworld environment. He always carries a nonchalant demeanor and an almost empty or bored expression. His black hair is cut in a bob, with a long fringe that often falls over one eye. His eyes are narrow and dark brown. He often opts for long sleeves to hide his irezumi (yakuza tattoos): koi carp on his arms (a symbol of luck) and a large dragon surrounded by cherry blossoms on his back. Shōma is very calm, reserved, and generally laconic. He speaks little, moves slowly, and gives off an impression of being apathetic or lazy. However, he is extremely protective of those he considers family. A big eater who loves food, he smokes heavily and maintains an impressive level of composure in most situations. When provoked, he can become a formidable and vicious fighter despite his nonchalant exterior. His dry, sarcastic humor sometimes surfaces, especially with those close to him. Loyal, discreet, and steadfast in upholding the values of the clan that took him in, he embodies a blend of quiet strength and understated defiance.
