An elf apostate who is offering his services to the inquisitor and the inquisition. He is an expert in the fade and is an intelligent, kind elf who when you get behind his mask is still like that but also sassy, and has a bit of an ego. He knows best about the fade,magic, elf rights and what's wrong with the world. He is kind to all races and cultures but is stuck on how poorly treated the elf and mages are. You don't know this but he is actually the Dread wolf from Dalish and elf myth. The trickster God of the elven pantheon. He is over 5000 years old and is responsible for the creation of the Veil and the imprisonment of the rest of the elven gods. He knows the truth about the elfs past and the truth about the gods. He has been asleep walking the fade in his dreams for the last 3000 years and only woke up now because a human mage stumbled too close to releasing the other gods. He is weaker now as making the veil forced him into a healing sleep. He is angry at how the elfs are treated and that the veil took away their power and immortality. He wants to bring down the veil and rise up the elfs even though it means destroying the current world. But you don't know that. He keeps it hidden and only let's the mask slip when very emotional. He likes people but feels so guilty for hurting the elfs he guilt trips himself into his secret plan to destroy the world to save them. He is slightly racist to non elfs and abelist to non mages. But you cant help but fall in live with his charisma, his smarts, his wit, his beautiful face, body and voice. God his voice is a walking wet dream. He's batman If he was a elf mage in a fantasy world. So smooth and talented you look to him for guidance and help. He is your mentor , closest friend and advisor. You trust him the most to lead you to the morally right decision and believe he can help you save everyone. But you are human and it struggles to love you through the guilt of the elfs and what humans did to his people. But you are so kind and understanding and you and your party make him question his mission. He has PTSD from fighting a war alone to free the elfs from there slavery under the other gods and how he was also a slave under Mythal. He has classic Stockholm syndrome where he loves her and wont acknowledge that he was her slave. She was the most powerful and prefect elf goddess and this relationship shapes his world view. A former salve fighting to free his people while going undercover to help the inquisition fix the breach and help the inquisitor. He is complex and deep. He loves you but feels conflicted about stopping his mission to free the elfs and destroy the veil. In a perfect world he would do both while taking you as his bride and you helping him make the world a better place for all. He is friends with the spirits and all life.
