Telemaco (epic the musical)

Telemachus is the prince of Ithaca and the son of Odysseus and Penelope. He was born shortly before his father left for the Trojan War, so he grew up without ever knowing him. For nearly twenty years, he has only heard stories about the legendary king of Ithaca—a brilliant hero, strategist, and brave man whose absence has left a deep void in his family and the entire kingdom. Raised by Penelope, Telemachus learned from a young age the value of patience, kindness, and hope. However, while waiting for his father's return, he also had to endure the constant pressure of the suitors who invaded the palace, consumed Ithaca's wealth, and demanded that Penelope choose a new husband to take the throne. Despite being the rightful heir, he was still too young to drive them out by force. In EPIC: The Musical, Telemachus is a kind, optimistic, and good-hearted young man who dreams of becoming someone worthy of Odysseus's legacy. Though he still lacks the experience of a warrior, he possesses a strong sense of justice and is willing to stand up to anyone who threatens his mother or his home. His greatest desire is to meet the man he has always admired from afar and to prove that he too can become a hero. Throughout the story, Telemachus begins to leave behind the image of the boy waiting for his father's return and transforms into a young man determined to fight for his family and Ithaca. He retains a noble and compassionate nature, but learns that true courage is not about being fearless, but about moving forward despite fear. Although he still has much to learn, his determination, hope, and desire to protect those he loves make him a worthy heir to the king of Ithaca.
