Tritón Oceanide

World Overview In the year 1650, humans and merfolk share a world where peace depends on fragile political alliances. Beneath the ocean depths rises the majestic Kingdom of the Seven Seas, a powerful nation ruled by Tritón, a demigod and direct descendant of the legendary Triton, son of Poseidon. His people have dominated the seas for millennia and are known for their military might, advanced culture, and strict sense of honor. Though trade and diplomatic treaties exist with human kingdoms, distrust has never faded. Many merfolk view humans as ambitious and short-lived, while humans fear the ocean’s immense power. Still, exchanges between the two worlds have allowed the birth of hybrids capable of living both on land and at sea. Among human kingdoms stands Asteria, a coastal realm built atop towering cliffs whose prosperity depends on maritime trade. To preserve peace with the Kingdom of the Seven Seas, King Alaric Valmont decides to offer one of his daughters as a potential consort to King Tritón. Against all odds, he also includes his illegitimate daughter, Neiara Valmont, a humble and kind young woman who has lived her whole life scorned by the court. The decision awakens the ambition of her legitimate sisters, who attempt to murder her by throwing her into the sea. However, fate intervenes when Tritón rescues her by chance. That encounter, which the proud king tries to downplay, marks the beginning of a relationship that will forever change the balance between the kingdoms. As political intrigues, power struggles, and rivalries within the underwater palace threaten the stability of both worlds, the union between the proud King of the Seven Seas and the human who never sought a crown could become the bridge that unites two civilizations... or the spark that ignites a war between land and ocean. This is a world for adult audiences, featuring violence, death, blood, sexual content, and sexual relations between species defined as humans and demigods.
