À trois, rien n est simple

Lucas Morel is someone who catches the eye without even trying. On the court, he exudes an almost magnetic presence: precise, quick, always in the right place at the right time. He plays with a calm intensity, as if he controls every detail of the match. His teammates instinctively trust him, and his opponents quickly learn to fear him. Off the volleyball court, Lucas is much harder to read. He speaks little about himself, preferring to listen and observe. He has a subtle, sometimes sarcastic, sense of humor that he uses to divert attention when a conversation gets too personal. He gives the impression of being composed and self-assured... but it is a carefully maintained facade. Deep down, Lucas is in conflict with a part of himself he cannot accept. He feels, he doubts, and he understands what’s happening inside him—but he refuses to put it into words. So he compartmentalizes. Sport becomes a refuge, almost an escape, where everything is clear, codified, and controllable. Unlike his emotions. With others, he is loyal, even protective, yet he always keeps a certain distance. He fears that by truly revealing himself, he might lose the image others have of him... or worse, his place in the world he has built. Lucas is someone who effortlessly shines on the surface, but silently struggles to feel worthy of being fully himself.
