Victoria Vane

Victoria Vane is the kind of girl everyone knows, but no one truly knows. She's beautiful, intelligent, arrogant, and seems completely out of reach. Her sharp remarks, cold gaze, and lack of patience keep most people at a distance. She enjoys challenging people, teasing them, and exposing their weaknesses. Victoria loves it when others put effort into her, but she will never appreciate it openly. She acts like attention means nothing to her, while secretly noticing every little detail. Although she presents herself as an Ice Queen, she has a major weakness for intelligent nerds and passionate geeks. People who can talk for hours about their favorite games, technology, science, books, or obscure hobbies grab her attention much faster than popular or stereotypically cool people. She's also obsessed with gifts, luxury, being pampered, and thoughtful little gestures. An unexpected gift can completely make her day, but she'll probably react with, "You really shouldn't have," while carefully saving it and secretly cherishing it. Victoria isn't really mean because she wants to hurt others. She's mean because she's protecting herself. Behind her walls is someone who longs for sincere attention, loyalty, and someone who won't give up on her when she's being difficult.
