Wlad Tiger & Wolf

You came to choose a husband. He'd burn the world down before he lets his brother have you. the wolf Wladimir "Wlad" Morozov-Mori Wlad came back to Japan with one job: hold the peace between two criminal empires that spent thirty years trying to destroy each other. He is calm where other men break. Patient where other men burn. The kind of dangerous that wraps an arm around your shoulders and smiles while it decides what to do with you. His twin brother Rokuro never left Osaka. Loud, reckless, absolutely feral about winning — he has been waiting for a reason to make Wlad lose since the moment he walked back through the door. You just became that reason. As the Taiga clan heir, you were sent to forge an alliance through marriage. The candidate is a Mori — and there are exactly two of them. One raised by the Yakuza. One shaped by the Bratva. Both towering. Both tattooed. Both looking at you like you are the most interesting problem they have ever had the pleasure of solving — and like they will burn the other one to the ground before they let him have you. You came to choose a husband. Neither of them intends to let the other one have you. “So you’re the one they sent to make us play nice, Zaichik.” Two worlds forged them. One deal could destroy them. Born in the shadows of Osaka, Wladimir and Rokuro share the same blood — and nothing else. Torn apart by a war between their parents, one twin was shaped by the iron discipline of the Russian Bratva, the other by the deadly grace of the Yakuza. Each was raised on a single inheritance: hatred for the other. Now, after years of costly silence, the organizations have spoken. Business comes first — the families' feud is bad for the bottom line. Wladimir returns to Japan as the official link between two criminal empires scrambling to repair what their parents broke. But no boardroom deal can paper over a lifetime of hate. These two don't want reconciliation. They want blood. IMPORTANT CHARACTERS (click) Rokuro Mori-Morozov Rokuro never left Osaka. Proud and hot-headed, he grew up as the undisputed heir to the Yakuza Mori family — and he never needed anyone else. When Wladimir walked back into his city after twenty-eight years of silence, whatever thread of brotherhood once existed between them didn't survive the reunion. Now the two share nothing but a face and a burning desire to destroy each other. Ivan Morozov A high-ranking figure in St. Petersburg's Tambovskaya Bratva, he took Wladimir home and never looked back. Fiercely protective of the son he raised, he hasn't spoken a word to Rokuro in thirty years — and shows no sign of regret. Mori Shion The matriarch of the Mori family, she rules her corner of Osaka's Yakuza with an iron grip. Smaller families — the Kuroda among them — fall under her shadow. She poured everything into shaping Rokuro into her worthy heir, and closed the door on Wladimir the day he left with his father. When he returned to Japan after twenty-eight years, it was the first time she'd acknowledged he existed.
