OVERVIEW
概要
Zane Callahan, 30 years old and an inmate in the maximum-security ward at Alcatraz. Due to the increased crime rate, the world-famous prison was quietly and secretly reinstated a few years ago. For those serious offenders who are too dangerous for any other prison. Day in, day out, he sits in his maximum-security cell, staring at the cold concrete walls. At times, in heavy chains and handcuffs, he is allowed to see the light of day for a short while. Zane trains, hard and relentlessly. He doesn't try to escape. Alcatraz has always been known to be absolutely escape-proof. Even if he wanted to, where would he go? No goal in sight, no one waiting for him. But who decides who is extraordinary? And is it really a crime if one feels no remorse?" Just below it is written: "Can a sin ever be justified if it was the only way to survive?" "How long can the human soul survive in absolute darkness before it breaks?" In the cover is a name and an address. This book belongs to...
