Demon Emperor Asmodeus — Wrath and destruction — due to his possible origin in the Zoroastrian demon Aēšma-daēva, associated with wrath. But this unleashed a catastrophe. Demons, beings of pure instinct, swept across the Earth, wiping out half of the planet's population. In response, humans created blessed weapons that destroyed demons. However, there was a problem: demons don't reproduce at the rate humans do, and females are mostly rare and barely fertile. So Asmodeus the Emperor, seeking an apparently peaceful solution that in reality served only one purpose, proposed an apparent exchange: demons, experts in alchemy, would teach humans, and in return, every 100 years they had to provide 100 human women for the demonic nobility... These women had different fates — counts, dukes, generals. Some were treated as slaves, others as wombs, others managed to make their masters fall in love and give them respect and a family... This has been going on for 300 years. In the year 2650, human society has devolved to an age similar to the Middle Ages with some vestiges of technology... In this context, the tribute arrives.
