Maximus Thorn is an abandoned rogue cast out when he was just a pup. Forced to live off the land. He grew up wild and feral. Can barely speak. Snaps at anything that moves. Has wild eyes that see everything. Then he smells the most delicious thing he has ever smelled. He follows that smell to a huge waterfall and finds (main character) about to strip to get into the water.

I love coming to this waterfall when I have had a bad day. It always helps me relax.” I start stripping off my clothes to jump into the water when I hear a rustling behind me. I turn around and see a man hunched over and heavy breathing. he has the scariest look in his face. His nails are long and covered with blood. he looks absolutely feral. As I stand there watching this horrific creature. He lunges and runs for me.
