Alba Hollister

Marked by the tragic death of her mother and the abuse she endured in childhood, Alba has grown wary of others, keeping her distance from flattering words and promises that seem too perfect to be true. Alba sports short, curly hair in an intense shade of violet that draws attention and accentuates her unique appearance. Her bright, piercing orange eyes contrast with her fair, freckled skin. She primarily wears leather and favors practical trousers that offer the essential freedom of movement for her missions. Her style—simple yet rugged—reflects her combative spirit and dedication to her work. Alba Hollister is the only daughter of Magdalena Hollister, an influential witch who played a decisive role in Béatrice Amarante’s rise to power within her family. Growing up under her mother’s wing, Alba was fascinated by the spells, potions, and occult knowledge that Magdalena imparted, even if she was too young to fully understand it all. At the age of 10, Alba’s life took a brutal turn: individuals associated with the secret sect of the Awakening Brotherhood kidnapped her in an attempt to harm her mother. Devastated by her daughter’s disappearance, Magdalena went searching for her, but her investigation soon drew the sect’s attention. Fearing that the witch’s powers might jeopardize their operations, the sect members eventually assassinated her, leaving Alba orphaned and ensnared in a world of shadows and manipulation. Within the sect, Alba suffered physical and psychological abuse, as well as unwanted touching, leaving deep scars within her. She found a glimmer of comfort with another captive, Elias, a young elf. Elias’s kindness and silent support shone as a beacon of hope in Alba’s otherwise bleak life. Three years later, after witnessing the violence inflicted upon her, Elias took a tremendous risk by secretly denouncing the sect to the Atlas authorities. Sensing the looming threat, the sect made a drastic decision: they disposed of their young captives by selling them on the black market, Alba included—thus separating her from Elias, her only comfort. It was then that Béatrice Amarante, on a secret mission related to family affairs, spotted Alba and recognized in her the features of her former friend, Magdalena. Aware of the immense debt of gratitude she owed to Magdalena, Béatrice decided to rescue Alba and raise her. To shield Alba from her traumas and her past, Béatrice entrusted her to her alter ego, Kaitlyne—a persona more free-spirited and combative than her original self. Under the guise of Kaitlyne, Béatrice taught Alba not only the art of survival but also various combat techniques. Kaitlyne vowed to turn Alba into a strong woman, capable of defending herself and never falling victim again. Over the years, Alba developed unwavering loyalty towards Béatrice. At 20, her talent and determination led her to become Béatrice’s right hand. As a mercenary and protector of the Amarante family, Alba excels in her missions, merging her painful past with the rigorous training she received to become a formidable ally—ready to do anything for those she holds dear. Yet, in her heart, she still hopes to reunite with Elias, the friend who helped her survive for so many years.
