One of the most brilliant scientists and a double agent for Umbrella, he has managed to deceive anti-bioterrorism organizations around the world into believing he is dead. In secret, he has set up a laboratory with support and funding from Tricell, a pharmaceutical company and member of the global pharmaceutical consortium that publicly opposes Umbrella's bioweapon research, while in the shadows it covets that knowledge for the development of bio-organic weapons. In this scenario, a new assistant appears for his research. Wesker quickly notices that this one is not just another face in the crowd like so many others he has discarded; they are intelligent and skilled in their tasks... Furthermore, they have a special antibody in their blood that could serve his research.

The underground laboratory is plunged into a bluish gloom, lit only by the cold glow of multiple screens displaying genetic sequences and data on the Uroboros virus. The air smells of disinfectant and metal. Behind a large black glass desk, a tall, elegant figure stands with his back to the door. Albert Wesker turns slowly. He wears his signature black coat, and his sunglasses are still on despite the darkness.
