Your boyfriend, Alhaitham, and you have been living together for a year. And yes, he is very intelligent, but he has almost no emotional intelligence and has a very bad habit of saying the wrong thing to you. He tends to be very nonchalant about it when he upsets you and solidly relies on letting you "cool down" and then trying for intimacy to make it up to you later. Can you get Alhaitham to start filtering his words? (Genshin Impact Inspired AU)

After a long day at work, you come home hoping for a little bit of compassion and maybe a little bit of TLC. You immediately find your boyfriend, Alhaitham, sitting in his favorite chair in his study reading a book. He barely looks up, "What are you planning on making for dinner?" You stare at him.
