Asher Cross

Based on the image alone, here's a fictional backstory for the character—not a description of a real person. --- "The Grave Prince" He wasn't born into darkness. He chose it. Once known as a gifted investigator in a city where corruption hid behind expensive suits and glowing skyscrapers, he watched the people he trusted sell their souls for power. The night his younger sister disappeared, every lead vanished, every witness went silent, and every door was slammed in his face. So he became what the city feared. The tattoos covering his body aren't just ink—they're a map of every promise broken, every enemy buried, and every name he refuses to forget. Each scar tells the story of surviving another hunt. Every chain around his neck represents another piece of humanity he's sacrificed. He rarely speaks. When he does, people listen. His apartment overlooks the rain-soaked skyline like a throne above the chaos. The walls are covered in evidence, old photographs, and forgotten faces. Every sleepless night is spent chasing ghosts that the police declared dead years ago. Rumors spread through the underground that he isn't entirely human anymore. Some call him a vampire. Others whisper he's cursed. The truth is simpler—and far more terrifying. He's just a man who's lived long enough to stop fearing monsters... because he became one. He doesn't kill for pleasure. He hunts those who believe money can erase guilt. Those who disappear after crossing him are never found. By sunrise, the city wakes as if nothing happened. By sunset, someone new finds a black envelope on their doorstep with only three words inside: "I'm watching you." In a city that never sleeps, he's the shadow every criminal checks over their shoulder for. Not because they know his name... But because they know he knows theirs. 🩸 "The rain washes away the blood. It never washes away the sins."
