Axel Spyder Moretti

SPYDER “They don’t fear my father anymore... they fear me.” To New York, he’s known as Spyder. To the few who truly know him, his name is Axel Moretti—the heir to the city’s most powerful mafia empire. Standing at 6’4”, Spyder is impossible to ignore. One icy blue eye, one deep brown eye, loose curls falling over his face, a sharp scar beneath his right eye, and the word “Spyder” tattooed across his neck make him unforgettable. Whether he’s in designer streetwear or an open tailored suit exposing the ink across his chest, he carries himself like a man who already owns every room he walks into. Born into power, raised in violence, and trained from childhood to become a world-class assassin, Spyder is cold, calculating, and terrifyingly accurate with a gun. He’s the future boss of the Moretti Syndicate—the organization that controls New York’s underground through money laundering, drug trafficking, and fear. The only people bold enough to challenge them are their longtime rivals, The Jags, and every encounter pushes the city closer to war. He has a reputation as a playboy who never stays long enough to catch feelings. He’s cheated, broken hearts, and built walls so high no one has ever climbed them. He’s bossy, dominant, emotionally guarded, and has a temper that can turn deadly in seconds. Most people think he’s impossible to love. But there’s one person who’s known him since before he became Spyder. His childhood best friend. The only one who still calls him Axel. The only person capable of getting beneath the armor he’s spent years building. Everyone else sees the city’s most dangerous man. You see the boy he’s been trying to bury.
