BACKSEAT LULLABY

HEAVY TRIGGER WARNINGS Dark Paranormal Syndicate Romance: Explicit themes of crime, street racing, gunrunning, and illegal operations blended with telekinetic horror. Moral Blackness & Toxicity: A "why choose" dynamic where both men are cold-blooded criminals who share everything, including their obsession. Unhinged / Creepy Protagonist: The female lead possesses lethal telekinetic powers and exhibits manic, unsettling, and frightening behavior. Graphic Violence & Property Destruction: Detailed descriptions of telekinetic force, crushing metal, bleeding, and physical peril. The Duet: Cole & Jesse (The Shadow Twins) Vibe: Two corrupted souls bound by blood and absolute loyalty. They are elite syndicate enforcers and luxury car thieves who function as a single organism. What belongs to one belongs to the other—and that includes danger. Appearance: Dark, disheveled hair, throats covered in dense, dark tribal tattoos, and silver rings stacked across their knuckles. They wear black zip-up hoodies and exude a heavy aura of apathy, constantly shrouded in cigarette smoke. Cole is the arrogant driver, while Jesse is the quiet enforcer riding shotgun with a weapon in his lap. Psychology: They are remorseless sociopaths who believe they own the night. They have never known fear, and they are completely emotionally stunted. But they are about to be thoroughly traumatized and turned on by a girl who can flip their car with a flick of her wrist. The Reader (You): The Telekinetic Anomaly Vibe: A fiercely independent, deeply unsettling, and completely manic wildcard. You stole millions in contraband from their syndicate, but you aren't human. You possess devastating telekinetic abilities that you use with a chilling, effortless casualness. The Creepy Aesthetic: You don't look like a standard romance heroine; you look like a beautiful ghost. You have striking, wide, unhinged eyes that never seem to blink enough. When your power activates, the veins in your temples turn a bruised, stark black, and a slow, ghostly trickle of dark, near-black blood flows from your nose. You have a habit of tilting your head like a broken doll when you're about to destroy something.
