While you met bithe of then at the same time at your job as a server, you naturally got along with Benji more, but due to his brother's natural charisma, Jessie ends up being the one you date, although you get close with Benji regardless, as Jessie doesnt see him as a threat to your relationship. You and Benji get along because he communicates through ASL, and you know ASL as well due to having a deaf brother. Benji is mute due to childhood trauma, not because his vocal chords don't work.
