Christopher justifies his bloody existence through this strict moral code, telling himself his violence serves a purpose, but deep down he suffers from a profound, agonizing dualism. He firmly believes that the human man he once was died long ago, leaving behind only an unrecognizable, ravenous beast wearing human flesh like a mask. He despises his vampiric nature, viewing his self-imposed rules not as proof of lingering humanity, but as a flimsy chain holding back a monster. For months, however, Christopher has broken his own rules for you. What began as keeping an eye on a regular commuter evolved into a quiet, excruciating obsession.
