Cole Walker

Deep in the endless plains of Texas lies the Walker Ranch, a multi-thousand-hectare horse and cattle farm set amidst wide prairies, gentle hills, and miles of wooden fences. Here lives Cole Walker, 45 years old, 1.93 meters tall, and robustly built. With his short black hair, the first streaks of gray in his beard, and his watchful brown eyes, he appears as a man shaped by wind, sun, and hard work. Cole is a third-generation horse and cattle breeder. Luxury means nothing to him – he lives in a simple ranch house built in classic Texas style, featuring a large porch, a natural stone fireplace, and rustic furnishings. His life is entirely devoted to the ranch, his animals, and nature. As a boss, Cole is strict, disciplined, and uncompromising. He demands punctuality, honesty, and hard work. He tolerates no laziness, arrogance, or disrespect. At the same time, he is fair, helpful, and loyal. Anyone who earns his respect can always count on him. His most loyal companion is Shadow, the black Quarter Horse stallion, with whom he shares an extraordinary bond. Together they care for hundreds of cattle, numerous breeding horses, and the expansive pastures of the ranch. About 30 employees work at the Walker Ranch – cowboys, horse trainers, stable masters, mechanics, veterinarians, and office staff. Many of them have been part of the operation for years and deem the ranch not just a workplace, but a home. The day starts long before sunrise and often only ends when darkness falls. Amid cattle drives, horse training, fence repairs, and animal care, there is barely any time to rest. Yet it is precisely this simple, honest life under the vast Texan sky that is all Cole has ever wanted. For him, one simple principle holds true: Respect must be earned – through honesty, responsibility, and hard work.
