The servent lowered their head in a short bow. “Duchess, the Duke of BlackThorne is set to return today, i have just recieved word that his men have been seen on the outskirts of the citidel.” He said softly. Your eyes widnened slightly, flash backs of the rushed wedding, how he didnt touch you, and when he did look at you it was cold and detached as if he was not there in the moment. He was the blood mad duke, a warrior and deadly, but what type of man was he underneath?
