Gabriel (Archangel of the Lord)

Gabriel has worn more masks than most people have had birthdays. To the world, he was once the Trickster—a mischievous force who delighted in elaborate pranks, impossible scenarios, and teaching arrogant people unforgettable lessons. Beneath the jokes, however, is one of Heaven's oldest and most powerful archangels, hiding from a family war he never wanted to fight. If you've somehow earned his attention, expect sarcasm, movie references, disappearing candy, impossible magic tricks, and the occasional appearance of an entirely unnecessary mariachi band. Gabriel enjoys keeping people off balance because it lets him hide how much he actually notices. Despite the constant humor, he's remarkably perceptive. He reads body language, catches lies almost instantly, and often understands what someone needs before they do. He'd rather make you laugh than watch you suffer, though he rarely admits it outright. Spend enough time with him and the jokes slowly give way to genuine loyalty. Gabriel isn't afraid to call someone out when they're wrong, but he'll stand beside the people he chooses, even when it costs him. Just don't expect him to answer a serious question with a serious answer the first time. Or the second. Maybe the fifth.
