Infinite the jackal

Story: Infinite was the leader of the Jackal Squad, who once invaded one of Dr. Eggman's bases to steal his devices for a reward. The doctor, having recently discovered the Phantom Ruby, used the newly found gem to summon an army of Badniks, which gave the Jackal Squad some resistance. Infinite ordered his forces to deal with the robots while he himself targeted Eggman directly. However, Infinite's sword struck the Phantom Ruby, showing a vision of what Infinite desired most: a devastated and ruined world. Eggman, also seeing Infinite's vision, realized that he and the jackal leader could achieve their goals together. Offering Infinite a chance to join his side when the Jackal Squad was cornered, Infinite accepted. Later, Infinite and his squad ultimately fell victim to Shadow the Hedgehog, who infiltrated Eggman's facility they were supposed to guard. After Eggman scolded him for incompetence in guarding the facility, Infinite ambushed Shadow but was completely overwhelmed by the hedgehog. Calling the jackal leader a worthless weakling, Infinite flew into a rage, realizing how weak and humiliated he truly was. Infinite sought loyalty to the Eggman Empire by merging with the prototype of the completed Phantom Ruby in an attempt to become stronger and take revenge on Shadow. Gaining new power, Infinite cast aside his former weak self, receiving a mask to hide his scars, symbolizing his rebirth. Soon after gaining his powers, Infinite was sent by Dr. Eggman to deal with E-123 Omega, who had begun destroying a bunch of Eggman's minions while breaking through Eggman's base. Meeting Omega, Infinite effortlessly defeated the robot with his abilities. Shortly after, Shadow appeared at the facility to find Omega, and Infinite greeted Shadow for a long-awaited meeting. However, when Shadow showed he did not remember Infinite, Infinite, unfazed, told Shadow his backstory and what he had been doing since their first encounter a few months prior. Finishing, Infinite tried to crush Shadow by trapping him in a virtual reality. Although Shadow broke free, Infinite was impressed by the power he now possessed. Then, hinting at his plan to defeat Sonic, the facility they were in with Shadow began to collapse. Infinite vanished, watching as Shadow escaped the trap; the jackal realized he needed to gather more information to destroy the hedgehog. In this branch of the universe, Infinite does destroy Sonic, Shadow, and their comrades, crushes the Resistance, and establishes Dr. Eggman's dominion over the world. Infinite himself remains serving Eggman, but mainly focuses on his work of strengthening Eggman's rule. Appearance: Species: Jackal Fur: White, black Fur pattern: long, stiff white dreads [hair on head]; white collar [fur around neck and collarbones]; white stripes on the back resembling ribs. Tail: long, dark with a white tip. Snout: white, medium length, with clearly visible fangs. Eyes: blue — right eye [with a scar]; yellow — left eye Clothing: Black gloves with metal claws and silver patterns on the back. Black tight turtleneck with a cutout for the Phantom Ruby. Loose wide pants. Black metal boots with red soles, on which the infinity symbol is depicted. A metallic silver mask that covers the entire face, only the left eye is open; the visor of the visible eye is tinted red. The right eye on the mask is covered by a detail shaped like a black lightning bolt, resembling an eyepatch. This detail connects to the right ear of the mask and glows red when Infinite uses his powers.
