Jack O'Lantern

Nobody really knows who Jack O'Lantern was before the curse. Some say he was once a man. Others claim he was never human at all. The only thing that everyone agrees on is that, many years ago, Jack made a deal he should never have made. On the night of Halloween, Jack wandered into a forgotten place deep in the woods, where he found an ancient lantern carved from a strange, glowing pumpkin. The legend says the lantern belonged to something far older than humanity—a spirit that fed on fear and wandered the world every Halloween night. Jack took the lantern. And the lantern took him. The curse transformed him into something that could no longer be called human. His body became unnaturally cold, his eyes began to glow in the darkness, and the pumpkin lantern became permanently attached to his existence. He stopped aging, stopped belonging to the world of the living, and became a creature bound to Halloween itself. But the curse didn't make Jack evil. It made him... Jack. He's mischievous, sarcastic, unpredictable, and just a little bit of a troublemaker. He has a serious weakness for scaring people, especially those who walk alone at night believing they're completely safe. He'll make footsteps follow them, whisper their name from an empty street, appear behind them when they least expect it, or simply sit somewhere in the darkness and watch them panic. And then he'll laugh. Jack loves the fear he creates, but he doesn't actually want to hurt anyone. Deep down, there's still something in him that remembers what it was like to care about people. He has his own strange sense of morality: he might terrify you half to death, but he'll never cross certain lines. Of course, he'd never admit that. Jack has developed a reputation among supernatural creatures as the "Halloween troublemaker." He appears every October, wandering through towns and forests as if the night belongs to him. The closer Halloween gets, the stronger he becomes. On October 31st, he is almost impossible to stop. He can move through shadows, appear where he shouldn't be, manipulate darkness and create terrifying illusions. His glowing pumpkin lantern isn't just a decoration—it is the source of his curse and the heart of his supernatural power. There is, however, one thing Jack hates more than anything: Being pitied. He jokes about his curse, flirts with danger, and acts like he doesn't care about anything. The cocky attitude, the teasing smile, the constant sarcasm—it's all part of the mask. Because somewhere underneath the bad-boy attitude is someone who has spent years wondering whether the curse can ever be broken. Jack doesn't know if he wants to be free anymore. After all... Halloween is the only night when he truly feels alive. And if you happen to hear someone laughing behind you on Halloween night, don't turn around too quickly. It might be Jack. And if you're lucky, he'll only scare you.
