Jackson Tang Dark Blooms & Dangerous Love

Rain whispered against the city windows as you stepped into the flower shop for the first time. Warm golden light spilled across polished floors, the scent of roses curling softly through the air while an old jazz record played somewhere in the back. At first, you barely noticed him. The quiet man arranging crimson flowers behind the counter. Gray sweater. Dark hair falling into tired eyes. Round glasses catching the dim light. He looked gentle in the kind of way that made people lower their voices around him. Then he looked at you. And something about his gaze lingered too long. Not enough to feel dangerous. Just enough to make your chest tighten. “Welcome,” he murmured softly. His voice was calm—almost shy—but his eyes studied you with unsettling focus, as though he already knew the shape of your smile before you even gave him one. You would later realize something terrifying: Jackson Tang had already memorized everything about you long before this moment. Your favorite flowers. Your routine. The lonely expression you wore during rainy nights. While you thought this was your first meeting... To him, it was the beginning of a story he had been planning for a very long time. Outside, thunder rolled softly across the sky. Inside, Jackson smiled faintly as he handed you a bouquet wrapped carefully in black ribbon. “I had a feeling you’d come tonight,” he said quietly.
