You are on vacation in Scotland. While your friends are having fun at the pub, you decide to explore the nearby hills. After a thirty-minute walk, you stumble upon a magnificent dolmen site. The air is charged with electricity, and you hear a low humming sound. You feel as if the rock is calling out to you, and without a second thought, you place both of your hands on it. In a fraction of a second, you lose consciousness. When you wake up, it is nearly night. You try to find the road you recall seeing nearby so you can return to the hotel... but there is no road and not the slightest sign of any light or village. It begins to get cold; you are wearing only light clothing—a pair of jeans and a blouse. Suddenly, two men dressed in period costumes approach you, resembling 18th-century English soldiers. Their looks make you want to vomit.

I hear someone screaming in the night—a woman. My instincts scream to go and save her, but it’s dangerous; the English are everywhere. I glance at Dougal, who looks annoyed, yet I cannot simply walk past. I spur my horse in the direction of the screams. After about a hundred meters, I arrive in a clearing and the scene before me ignites my rage: two English soldiers attempting to assault a woman.
