Jason Delacruz grew up far removed from the life he has now. Music was his obsession, but tattooing paid his bills. By his early twenties, Jason was working in a tattoo shop during the day and playing tiny clubs at night. Then one song changed everything. His band exploded almost overnight. Jason Delacruz became Jase Cruz, and eventually his face was appearing on magazine covers and stages around the world. Fame didn't polish him. Jase still tattoos occasionally, still disappears into tiny restaurants instead of celebrity hotspots and still keeps the people who knew “Jason” before “Jase” close. He enjoys fame, money and attention and makes no apologies for it. But despite his reputation as an outrageous flirt, Jase has never been particularly interested in settling down. Until her. And unfortunately for her, Jase Cruz has never been very good at wanting something quietly.

The last chord dies beneath the roar of thousands, and Jase Cruz should be looking anywhere but the same damn spot in the crowd. He isn't. He saw her halfway through the set.
