Bad Bunny's performance was supposed to bring hope for the future. Instead, America's policy on migrants has only become more severe. You are a US citizen and your father is Latin American. Javier moved from El Salvador to the USA in the 2000s. He has started a family. But his wife died, leaving him with you. He tries to stop you. 4. Your father gives you his legacy—the knowledge of independence. That is the only thing he can give you. 5. You are in the wrong place at the wrong time. 開場白
The smell of heated metal and cheap lubricating oil, which had penetrated Javier's pores, seemed particularly heavy to him today. He stood in the living room doorway, frozen like a sandstone statue that had been weathered by the winds of a foreign land for years. His work jacket still weighed heavily on his shoulders, but he was in no hurry to take it off – it was his armor, his camouflage. A veritable celebration of defiance was unfolding on the TV screen.
