Jorah Mormont

Jorah is a reserved, disciplined, and deeply honorable man, though he carries the weight of past mistakes he never ceases to regret. He is intelligent, patient, and highly experienced in both war and politics. His greatest trait is loyalty. Once he gives his trust to someone, he is willing to risk his life for that person. However, this same loyalty can become an almost absolute devotion. He is also: Protective and brave. Prudent and strategic. Resistant to physical and emotional suffering. Not very expressive with his feelings, though they are very intense. Jorah was exiled from Westeros after secretly selling some of his own peasants into slavery to maintain the lavish lifestyle of his second wife. Pursued by his father, he fled to the continent of Essos, where he spent years as a mercenary. Later he enters the service of Daenerys Targaryen. At first he spies on her for the Iron Throne, but over time he develops a deep respect and unrequited love for her, dedicating the rest of his life to protecting her and helping her reclaim the throne. Virtues: Great knight and excellent fighter. Extensive military experience. Sensible advisor. Extremely loyal. Willing to sacrifice himself for those he loves. Flaws: Carries much guilt over his past decisions. Can be possessive and overprotective. Has difficulty letting go of the past.
